Relieve symptoms of stomach discomfort, such as queasiness, bloating, fullness and heartburn which maybe experienced after eating.

Some people experience stomach discomfort during or just after a meal. This may be because the body is not moving food through the digestive system as effeciently as it needs to. The symptoms may include :

* Feeling sick (nausea or queasiness)

* Fullness or bloating

* Heaviness

* Burping

* Trapped wind

* Heartburn (acid)

Motilium 10 tablets treat these symptoms. They work by helping to move the food through your stomach, so that it doesn't stay too long in one place

This type of stomach discomfort can be caused by :

Eating too much : Eating too quickly or Eating or drinking certain 'triggers' such as coffee, fatty foods or alcohol

There are things you can do to help stop future attacks of this type of stomach problem

If there are foods, drinks or situations that you know bring on your symptoms, try to cut them out or cut down.

Go easy on snacks. Snack foods often contain a lot of fat, and can make your symptoms worse

Eat regularly, have three or four meals a day, at the same times, and don't rush your meals


Interaction Precautions :

You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you take these tablets if any of the following apply to you :

* As well as your symptoms, you've lost weight without trying to

* You are aged 45 or over and have had these symptoms for the first time, or your symptoms have changed

* You have kidney or liver problems

* You have problems swallowing

* You have constant stomach pains

* You are allergic to any ingredients of the tablets

* You have prolactinoma (a disease of the pituitary gland)

* You are pregnant, may be pregnant or planning a baby, or breastfeeding

* You are under 16

* You have any illness or are seeing a doctor regularly


If you take too many tablets, contact your pharmacist or doctor immediately

As the tablets contain a small amount of lactose they are not to be taken by people with galactosaemia or glucose/galactose malabsorption. A day's treatment of 4 tablets contains only as much lactose as approximately a teaspoonful of milk so the lactose content will not affect many
people with lactose intolerance, whereas some others may not be able to take the tablets
